We are fellow travelers. Starting therapy is a big step on the path to healing and living our most authentic lives. An important aspect of this is the client-therapist bond. Our relationship will be one of collaboration and co-creation. We are “fellow travelers” on your healing path. I will stand with you and support you as you heal past wounds and change present self-defeating patterns, so that you may live a more peaceful, joyful, creative and connected life.

Therapeutic Techniques

My approach to therapy stems from a humanistic perspective. I believe we all have the ability to access our most authentic selves and live a fulfilling and harmonious life. Sometimes that can get blocked or hidden. In our sessions, we will draw from a variety of therapeutic interventions and styles that will best fit your needs. These include mindfulness techniques or MBSR (mindfulness-based stress reduction), cognitive behavioral therapy, expressive arts/drama therapy. At times our sessions will feel like a catharsis or conversation with a friend, other times we will work in more structured ways. My goal is to meet you where you’re at and with what you need, in the present moment.
